The AV-IFR is the only simulator to offer a servo-powered electric trim. An actual servo motor
coupled to the resistance
control loading centering mechanism moves the control column fore and aft to
relieve the pressures of maintaining straight and level flight or proper ascent or decent angle. The pilot controls this pressure with a realistic aircraft-type switch located on the left side of control wheel. The trim position is indicated
electronically on the right side of the Flight Console.
The AV-B Flight Console interfaces to the computer's
USB port making it the first "plug and play" professional
Flight Console on the market.
